Historical Heritage
Aime’s historical heritage comprises three main sites:
- The Basilique Saint-Martin – a church belonging to the Priory of Saint Martin, built in the 11th century on the site of an ancient Roman civil basilica,
- The archeological museum « Des Pierres et des hommes » (Stone and Men) – this museum houses local archaeological remains,
- The Château Montmayeur – a 14th-century fortified house belonging to the Montmayeur noble Savoyard family.
