The ‘Des Pierres et des hommes’ (Stones and men) museum is located in the chapel on Saint-Sigismond hill, probable site of the Gallic oppidum. This chapel was built on the ruins of an early Christian church.
In 1970, Dr Pierre Borrione converted this chapel into an archaeological museum to display artefacts from excavations carried out on the same site since 1967.
This museum houses a rich collection of archaeological remains, ranging from prehistory to the Gallo-Roman period.
